Bambuk Minerals Ltd (“Bambuk”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Toro Gold Ltd focussing on gold exploration in West Africa.
Established under the direction of Dr Jon Forster in 2009, it operates as Toro Gold's exploration and development arm across the prolific Birimian terranes of West Africa. These terranes host a world class gold district that have produced significant amounts of gold dating from the 12th Century. In the modern era, exploration across the Birimian of West Africa has yielded many significant discoveries and despite the high level of exploration and the development of a number of large scale gold mines, the region remains relatively under-explored and retains significant potential for future discovery.
